Curt
Bishop brings to Isthmus, Ltd. a diverse background in information
technology and group management. His career includes considerable
experience in a variety of organizations including banking and
consulting companies, public institutions and a not-for-profit
organization. As Executive Director of MIS for Columbus Public Schools,
Curt’s visionary leadership, technical expertise, and group management
abilities moved the Management Information Systems department from a
single tier mainframe system to a distributed system involving over 130
servers. In addition, he served as the first CIO in an interim capacity
for one year to fully develop and define that office. At OCLC, Online
Computer Library Center, a global information service organization, Curt
provided strategic leadership in the areas of operations, systems
programming, systems analysis and software engineering.
Curt holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah where he
majored in Psychology. He has been affiliated with professional
organizations including the Council of Great City Schools where he
served on the Technology Steering Committee. Curt resides in Columbus,
Ohio with his wife. His two sons attend college at Ohio University.
